Reading the whole chart

On the Chart tab the display shows two charts. A bigger one above which is self explanatory, and a smaller one immediately below with a dark blue data line. Both charts appear to use the same time axis. What data is the smaller chart displaying please ? I cannot work it out. Would be great to know. Thanks.

Most often they don't use the same timeline. The smaller one represents the whole time (from your first to your last record), the big one represents only a part of it (anything from very little time to 100%).

The smaller one has controls that let you change the big one. Try hovering over the it (the little one) - two rectangles appear - now pull them. Also, there's a scrollbar on the bottom... try to pull it sideways as well.

I realize my description might sound confusing - try it yourself, it's much simpler.
